by | published Monday, August 31, 2020

Cards Against Humanity was one of the first–if not the first–indie game success stories of the 2010’s to use Kickstarter to get its seed money. It was also one of the first to use Amazon to fulfil its orders. In those respects at least, it blazed a trail for others to follow. Oh yes, and it inspired a lot of other people to publish NSFW games. Part 2 of Episode 9 tells the story of the game I happily gave away after playing it twice.

  • David is the Managing Editor of the DWP. He learned chess at the age of five and has been playing tabletop games ever since. His collection currently consists of about 600 games, which take up way too much space. His game "Odd Lots" won the inaugural TABS Game Design Contest in 2008. He is currently Managing Editor of The Daily Worker Placement. All in all he's pretty smug about his knowledge of games and game design.
