Missing Links Puzzle #4 Answers

by | published Tuesday, May 26, 2020

There’s a fun thing to do when you’re bored where you string together a list of movies so the last word of the previous one is the first word of the next one and you end up with a humungous blockbuster title like:

Time to Die Hard Target, or

Out for Justice League of Extraordinary Gentlemen Prefer Blondes

That was the idea behind the Missing Links puzzle.

Each game in Column A could be paired up with a game in Column B so that the last word of Column A’s game could be joined up with the first word of Column B’s game (sometimes with some bridging prepositions) to produce a third game:

  • Twilight Struggle of Empires: Age of Discovery
  • In the Hall of the Mountain King of Tokyo Highway
  • Tiny Epic Western Legends of Andor
  • Chariot Race for the Galaxy Trucker
  • One Deck Dungeon Lords of Vegas
  • Survive: Escape from Atlantis Rising Sun
  • Risk Legacy: Gears of Time Stories
  • Stone Age of Steam Park
  • 20th Century: Spice Road Kill Rally

Entering those into the right lines in the grid produced the words Can’t and Thief. Can’t Stop and Stop Thief are both names of games, so the final answer to Puzzle #4 is also, incidentally, a good piece of advice to any over-eager conspiracy theorist, which is STOP. Hope you enjoyed this one, and stay tuned to our Third Annual Halfway Day Content Puzzle on July 1.
